Forged in Faith. Formed in Purpose. Found in Community.

What Is The Foundry Project?

The CrossRoads Gap Year Program, called The Foundry Project, is a Christ-centered gap year experience designed for young adults ages 17–early 20s. Through intentional community, hands-on work experience, and spiritual mentorship, participants grow in faith, develop professional skills, and explore God’s calling for their lives.

Why Choose a Christian Gap Year Program?

Many students finish high school or are in college and are unsure of their next step. A faith-based gap year gives young adults the space to slow down, deepen their walk with Christ, and gain real-world experience before entering college, the workforce, or ministry. The Foundry Project equips participants for life beyond the classroom through mentorship, skill-building, and spiritual formation.

Program Duration & Structure

The Foundry Project runs from Labor Day through Memorial Day. After completing the program, participants may continue as summer staff or join the Leadership Team at CrossRoads Camp & Conference Center.
