At CrossRoads, there are so many exciting and challenging ways to enjoy camp!

Whatever your child ends up doing, you should know that careful thought and planning has gone into each activity.

We have explored the ways they can be stretched, have fun, and and how the Gospel can speak into that venture.


The costs for each week of summer camp are below. The cost is all-inclusive and includes a themed Summer Camp T-shirt. Please read the discount information below to find out if you qualify for a reduced price.

Cost of Camp: $325


  • Campers who belong to a church that supports the WMUV through the Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions will receive a $30 discount per camper per week each.

Financial Policy:
There is a non-refundable $50.00 registration processing fee. All cancellations must be received in writing three weeks prior to your scheduled camp week for a partial refund. After this time, no refunds will be given except in the case of severe illness or death in the immediate family. Names of campers may be substituted, but notification of the change must be made before opening day. There is a $35.00 fee for returned checks.

WMUV offers a limited number of scholarships each summer to deserving campers who would otherwise not be able to attend camp at CrossRoads due to financial reasons. Scholarship forms and information can be downloaded from the forms page.



Learning the sport of Archery was never this fun! In addition to basic safety and practices, you’ll play games to help with accuracy and consistency.

Learn all about creating delicious and beautiful meals and desserts. Try various recipes, learn food preparation styles, and enjoy taste-testing your creations!

Worship Arts
Explore how to use gifts such as music, drama, and dance as tools to show God’s love. You’ll have the opportunity to share what you learn with other campers by presenting during a worship service later in the week.

Gain important skills in caring for some of God’s most majestic creatures. The horses will also be ready to teach you significant lessons in trust, partnership, and leadership.

Discover the adventure of rock climbing and rappelling amid the backdrop of our beautiful mountain range. Challenge yourself at the end of the week when you visit our climbing and rappel sites on the mountain face!

Outdoor Life
Hone your survival instinct and survival skills so you’ll be prepared for what nature offers. You’ll learn skills like plant identification, map and compass reading, camp site selection, cooking in the back country, and basic first aid, then put them to the test on an overnight campout on our beautiful mountain property.

Play basketball, dodge ball, soccer, floor hockey, and other favorite sports in an encouraging and instructive environment with focuses on teamwork, trust, endurance, commitment, and sportsmanship.

NEW this year! Create a variety of works of art throughout the week. Some will be a souvenir for you to take home while others will be made as a mission opportunity to share God’s love with someone else.

Aquatic Adventures
NEW this year! Spend a little time in the pool each day with our lifeguards playing games and learning basic water skills.
